Pinturas de Suzi Ferrer (Lorenzo Homar)

$200.00

It’s December 1966 and time for an exhibition of paintings by Suzi Ferrer—her very first solo show. This obviously calls for a 7-color (at least) silkscreen poster by Lorenzo Homar. Totally worth it just for his lettering made to match the representation of Ferrer’s work. Also, the following is swiped from the Poster House site. They had a show of Homar’s posters that you just missed: “Lorenzo Homar was a pioneering printmaker, poster designer, calligrapher, painter, illustrator, caricaturist, and costume and theatrical set designer. Active from the 1950s through the 1990s, few equal his impact and influence as a teacher of poster design and printmaking in Latin America.” This is one of those pioneering posters.

  • Size: 19.75 × 29.5 inches
  • Pages: 1 sheet
  • Binding: NA
  • Condition: Good, but with some dimples and a half-inch tear on the left edge, in the margin with a couple of spots. Rolled for an eternity, though. We’ve had it flat and under weight for weeks. It’s definitely less tight, but still has a curl. Check the hi-res photo here.
