Projekte Projects prospectus

Projects could be the working title for a series of books recording some results from the twelve years before 1979 of typographic instruction at the Basle School of Design. During this time, certain work sprung from students’ delight and desire for discovery—which for an unbiased viewer is an enriching visual experience. Inventiveness, planning, and discovery of personal points of view during the design process were the characteristics of this work. These are not thesis works, but projects in the investigative sense of the word. And this is the prospectus for the series of books that never came to be. Just one book of two projects was published.
