Publicité 14
You know what tended to not find its way to the United States? Copies of Publicité, an annual survey of advertising and graphic art. Printed in French, German, and English, the series served as an essential international showcase for contemporary typography, poster art, packaging, and corporate design—and today it still serves as a sourcebook of information, ideas, and what can be (and what was) done. Loaded with 1 zillion pictures, each being worth 1,000 words. So, 1 zillion × 1,000 = a lot of good stuff. Also, the ads are totally worth it.
