Rudo Spemann: Monographie und Werkverzeichnis seiner schriftkunst

$60.00

Rudo Spemann was a German calligrapher, type designer, and illustrator. A student of Ehmcke and Schneidler, he had a solid foundation and great potential. Too bad he had a heart attack at 42 (Same.) and died in a Soviet prison camp. Before that, though, he did remarkable work. This is his story—but it’s in German. Our phone has been translating it all day. Yours can, too. But this one is largely about the delicious lettering and calligraphy—and so are you.
