Shigeo Okamoto (GGG Book 49)

After graduating from Aichi University of Education, Shigeo Okamoto practiced as a product designer and later became a graphic designer. His designs often feature cosmic and mathematical images that suggest his futuristic viewpoint. And now you know as much as we do. (And we just swiped that from the Cooper Hewitt.) This book’s 2-page introduction gives just a taste of the esteem in which he is held in Japan—the remaining sixty or so pages will show why he’s earned that esteem, with picture after picture of good work.
