Signum et Verbum (Jacques Hnizdovsky)

$40.00

We’re big fans of Jacques Hnizdovsky. He made two lovely, restrained woodcuts for this book of poems by Aleksis Rannit that were translated from the Estonian by Henry Lyman. (We actually know Henry and need to ask him how he came to know Estonian.) And just for the sake of dropping one more name, this was designed by Martino Mardersteig and printed at his Stamperia Valdonega in Verona. Get this book before we rip the prints out of this book and hang them in our house.
