This looks like it should be a cover for Wohnungskunst: Das Bürgerliche Heim (Art of the Home: The Middle-Class Home) but the paper is kinda thin to be the cover of anything. But whatever it is, it’s a nice bit of lettering and design and a notable example of German Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) influence on typography and layout. Keep your inspirations diverse. From the collection of Louise Fili—and this is the very item reproduced on pages 134 and 135 of Scripts. Historic!
