The Trained Printer and the Amateur

Here’s something we loved looking at and reading in our youth—although we remember not one single idea on its pages, we remember being fond of the types and design. With an introduction by Bruce Rogers and a design by him, this is the first publication set in Monotype Centaur. And for all you Massholes out there, remember this: Centaur (before it was Monotyped) was first used in Montague, Massachusetts.
