Typografische Monatsblätter (12.1976)

This issue of TM is dedicated to the work of Wolfgang Weingart as part of its infrequent “Pioneers of 20th Century Typography” series. Weingart was just thirty-five when this series placed his work alongside that of Piet Zwart, H.N. Werkman, El Lissitzky, Emil Ruder, Karl Gerstner, and Jan Tschichold. In just thirty-two pages, this one is loaded with boundary-pushing work. It’s a dazzling delight, loaded with graphic and typographic experiments and tricks.
