Too Fast to Live. Too Young to Die [prospectus]

Coming in 2016 from Fantagraphics Books was the definitive chronicle of Punk and post-Punk graphic design featuring over 700 pages and more than 3,000 examples of the most striking and innovative graphics that defined an era. It seems like the Fantagraphics edition never appeared and that the book wasn’t actually published until 2020 when it was released by Pavilion Books. But this is a near artifact which consists of fourteen 7-inch paper discs with details of Punk and post-Punk graphics and excerpts from the planned essays. From the collection of Steven Heller.
