Two-Series Modernage Typography Introduced by the American Type Founders Company

$80.00

In this one, stodgy ol’ ATF embraces the modernage. That’s not one of our usual typos. Modernage. For some reason they made up a word for the title of this specimen of Raleigh Cursive and Modernique. Page 2 declares: YOU MUST BE MODERN. and calls to attention their opinion that Modern typefaces are created primarily to attract the attention and to hold the eye of the general reader. They further remind that we are living in a fast-moving age and catering to the most exacting and discriminating people in the history of the world. From the collection of Louise Fili.
