Typografische Monatsblätter (1.1974)

So many issues of Typografische Monatsblätter are largely filled with technical stuff in German and French that are completely uninteresting and not the least bit useful. But even in those completely-uninteresting and not-the-least-bit-useful issues there is a section about design and typography. This one has handsome sections dedicated to advanced typographic design courses, the official jury report for the 1974 TM cover competition, and an inserted supplement on printmaking and graphic techniques. The whole thing is mostly in German and French so you probably won’t be able to read it, but you can look at it for a lifetime—especially the striking cover concept by Wolfgang Weingart.
