Typografische Monatsblätter (4.1979; offprint)
So many issues of Typografische Monatsblätter are largely filled with technical stuff in German that are completely uninteresting and not the least bit useful. But even in those completely-uninteresting and not-the-least-bit-useful issues there is a section about design and typography. And often they would issue those sections as stand-alone offprints. This is one of them, dedicated to the work of Jim Faris. This is how TM should have been issued. Throw out all that printing technology garbage and just give us the graphic experiments. This one is pure delight by a young Faris who would later go on to design for MoMA, Google, and Microsoft and be named an AIGA Fellow in 2020.
