Urwald-Abenteuer (Tschichold)

Let’s go on a jungle adventure with Jan Tschichold’s typography. And let’s ask ourselves? Is this the only children’s book designed by Tschichold? It’s the only one we’ve seen. Or maybe there were some Penguins. There were probably some Penguins. Or, Puffins. But this book was published in 1946 and JT didn’t go to work at Penguin until 1947. So maybe this is his first children’s book? Anyway, this is probably the only one written and illustrated by a 7-year-old Danish girl. Pretty neat.
