wem ich meine heutige Situation verdanke (Wolfgang Weingart)
It’s 1969. Twenty-eight-year-old Wolfgang Weingart is in his second year as a teacher of typography at the Basel School of Design. He’s making prints and posters and photographs. He’s got an exhibition of his work and this piece gives thanks—to Hanke, Hofmann, Ruder, Hostettler (among others) and his camera. He also addresses faults he’s been accused of: Using old work, only being concerned with publishing, and being unaware of the current state of the arts. A strikingly badass sheet of paper from the collection of Inge Druckrey. Scarce.
