Over My Shoulder: Graphic Design by Abram Games

This is a picture book in which one of the world’s most famous poster artists (circa 1960) allows the reader to look over his shoulder at work and in progress. Abram Games collected a large number of his best posters executed over many years, together with roughs and progress sketches. In this way it is possible to see the thought-process by which a top-flight designer solves a given problem, and to trace the way in which that designer extends and develops his style and technique.
