Perlen-Schmuck

$300.00

A week or two ago we asked who Rein(hardt?) Bauer was. Friend of K. Small Ferdinand Ulrich pointed out it was probably Reinhold Bauer. And this specimen confirms that—and sheds a little more light on to who this guy was. (Actually, we probably should have just googled him.) He clearly liked ornaments, as this specimen is loaded with designs from his hand. There are too many to count. But the nicer thing is that they are arranged with taste and care. Rare. Only Bibliotheek Universiteit van Amsterdam has one.
