Ehmcke-Kursiv
We were going to write that just like a man needs a maid (as sung by Neil Young), a roman needs an italic. But then we thought about what that song was actually about and decided it was not exactly appropriate. Anyway, here’s the “cursive” companion to Ehmcke-Antiqua—plus lots of ornaments, borders, and symbols designed by Ehmcke.
- Size: 8.5 × 11 inches
- Pages: 16
- Binding: Stapled pamphlet
- Condition: Good for something of this age. Cover is soiled and we’d bet money that there was once a Continental Typefounders on this as on the front there is a scuffed horizontal band where it looks like a sticker was removed—and removed in such a way that too much paper went with it and there is a small 1/8-inch hole. But it’s not that bad.
