We’re not sure what this or why it was made, but it was made by F.H. Ehmcke and features a paring knife or maybe a bone folder, a glue brush, and a sewing stand with three book blocks. You could probably have figured all that out for yourself, but we really have nothing to write about this. If nothing else, it illustrates the fact that the tools of binding books by hand have hardly changed in the last 100 years.

Actually, now we think this is a proof from a selection of graphic trade symbols by German designers from the 1907 Klingspor catalog. We feel pretty confident about that.
