Spitzpinsel-Alphabete (Karlgeorg Hoefer)

$300.00

According to the Google-translated colophon, these fourteen alphabets were made by Karlgeorg Hoefer and Ottmar Premstaller and cut in linoleum and printed in two colors throughout in an edition of 150 copies. WorldCat shows two copies in German libraries. And that’s it. The Internet hardly acknowledges its existence. A beautiful little thing with acrobatic alphabets. It’s amazing that these things were cut in linoleum. We know this sounds like B.S., but this is one of the best things we’ve ever found.
