The Making of Hadassah Hebrew
Just yesterday we asked a friend to recommend a Hebrew face for a job we were setting. You know what he recommended? Henri Friedlander’s Hadassah. That should be a clue that we should hold on to this. (We already have a cherished copy, though.) Weirdly uncommon, this book has Friedlander telling the story of not only his own Hebrew face, but also a history of Hebrew types and explaining where his fits into the mix.
